According to a report on GMA News Online, Herlene was asked in an interview on the sidelines of her contract signing on Tuesday if she’s still open to joining beauty pageants. In response, she said that she’ll be resting in the pageantry world for now, as she needs to focus on her acting career.

Although the beauty queen said she’s not closing her doors in the pageantry, the actress said that she will focus on what’s currently on her plate at the moment.

Siguro ngayon, pahinga muna. So kailangan isa-isa lang muna,” Herlene said. I mean, papahinga lang.
