Dominic Roque clarifies the issues being thrown against him
DOMINIC ROQUE – The actor released a statement to clear up issues thrown against him, including those about a condo reportedly owned by a politician.
In his statement released through his lawyer from Fernandez & Singson law offices, he condemned the issues raised by entertainment vlogger Cristy Fermin, calling them “malicious and defamatory.” The issues were allegedly released “under the guise of entertainment news without any effort from her to confirm the same from Mr. Dominic Roque.”
Dominic clarified some issues, including the condo unit he’s renting, which was allegedly owned by Dapitan City Mayor Bullet Jalosjos. He denied that the mayor was his “benefactor”, expressing embarrassment and apologizing to Mayor Bullet Jalosjos and his family for being dragged into public conversation due to Fermin’s statements.
He also addressed the dragging of Congressman Bong Suntay into the issue, stating that “such a statement, Ms. Fermin made the innuendo that unreasonably casts doubt on the sexuality of former Congressman Bong Suntay.” Furthermore, Dominic clarified that he does not own a Clean Fuel gas station since all Clean Fuel gas stations are company-owned.
He also denied having any disagreement with Bea Alonzo regarding a prenuptial agreement, stating that such reckless statements are unverified and merely based on speculations intended to create a negative image.
As of press time, Cristy Fermin has yet to give any reaction to Dominic Roque’s official statement.
Recently, Dominic and Bea released a joint statement confirming the end of their engagement and the cancellation of their wedding plans, following Boy Abunda’s announcement on his show that his sources confirmed their breakup. On the day the program aired, Boy Abunda mentioned that, according to his sources, Dominic is still trying to win back Bea. He also stated that the prenuptial agreement was not an issue for Dominic.
