SEVENTEEN – Some seats during the concert of the South Korean boy group in Bulacan collapsed.
The South Korean boy group made history with a successful two-night concert in Bulacan on January 13 and 14, drawing thousands of fans to witness their captivating performances at the Philippine Sports Stadium. Despite the triumph, fans couldn’t help but highlight certain incidents during the concert.
Amid the show, a row of seats in the stadium collapsed, taking attendees by surprise. A Twitter user, UaenCarat0912, shared the experience, mentioning that MID 1 section 133 collapsed towards the end of the concert. “HAHAHAHA TAENA DI MAN UMABOT NG AJU NICE GUMUHO,” he wrote.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, UaenCarat0912, or LJ Altes, clarified that the entire row of bleacher seats collapsed but assured that no one among the attendees was harmed. “Thankfully wala naman po nasaktan and ni-relocate agad ‘yong mga seated doon,” he shared with ABS-CBN News.
Several concert attendees shared their experiences during the packed show, expressing their shock and concern over the seat collapse. “Huy grabe talaga to!! Ung tatayo pa lang naman kami pero biglang bumigay ung seats!!! (emoji) di na umabot sa Aju Nice ung pwesto namin (emoji) buti nalang patapos na and hoping wag nalang pagamit sa Day 2, relocate nalang ung row,” a fan expressed.
Meanwhile, clips surfaced online of SEVENTEEN members distributing bottles of water to their fans, who seemed to be in a difficult situation.
PUSH reached out to Live Nation Philippines, the official promoter of SEVENTEEN’s concert in the country. As of writing, they have not released an official statement. The administration of the Philippine Sports Stadium has also not provided a report yet.
