LTO VIOLATION FEES 2024 – Here are the penalties set by the Land Transportation Office for violations of the traffic and driving rules.
In the Philippines, the government office that design and implement the traffic rules as well as the regulations in driving is the Land Transportation Office. It is more popularly called LTO and it has a branch in most cities and provinces across the nation.
The LTO is one of the institutions under the government that caters services to thousands of people daily. Thus, the state office has even set an LTO portal to widen the reach of its services as well as cut the long queues that are common at its branch offices as well as the main office.
Aside from making and implementing the rules in driving and traffic in the country for the safety of everyone and the smooth flow of the vehicles on the road, the Land Transportation Office is also the one that issues a Driver’s License to qualified drivers. It is also where the vehicles must be registered before it is permitted to operated in national highways.
The Driver’s License and the Vehicle Registration also have their own validity. The renewal must be done by drivers and vehicle owners on or before the expiration of the documents at the nearest LTO branch office.

In paying for an LTO violation, you simply have to get the code in the ticket issued to you by an LTO officer and pay for the penalty at an authorized payment center. You may also make the payment through an LTO-accredited banks and payment partners.
After paying for the fine, keep your receipt and present it to the LTO office. It will clear the record or process the release of your Driver’s License.
