Here’s what Coca Nicolas knows about the Pepsi Paloma issue
COCA NICOLAS – The Softdrink Beauty speaks about what she knows regarding the issue involving her late friend Pepsi Paloma, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and the late comedian Richie D’Horsie.
In the latest YouTube vlog by broadcast journalist Julius Babao, Coca Nicolas shared what she knows about the controversy that allegedly led Pepsi to take her own life. Reportedly, the three gentlemen molested the daring actress in Room 210 of Sulu Hotel in Quezon City in June 1982.
In September 1982, Pepsi withdrew the case she filed against Vic, Joey, and Richie. According to the young woman, some people simply wanted to capitalize on the fame of the TV hosts through a fabricated story. “Walang pagkakasala ang mga nakademanda at ako’y pinilit lamang ng mga taong may pagnanais na kumita sa pamamagitan ng maling publisidad,” Pepsi said in an interview back then.
In Julius’s interview with Coca, it seems that Pepsi is telling the truth about the incident. According to Coca, her friend told her that the accusations against the three comedians were unfounded.
She reportedly asked Pepsi directly, “Totoo ba yung sa inyo ni Tito, Vic, and Joey?” Pepsi allegedly replied, “Hindi ah! Alam mo naman si Tito Rey, parang hindi ka naman naano diyan kay Tito. Lahat gagawin niya para sumikat tayo.”
The “Tito Rey” mentioned by Pepsi and Coca refers to the late talent manager Rey dela Cruz. Continuing her revelations to Julius, Coca stated, “Kaya yun po talaga. Ako mismo ang magpu-prove niyan na hindi totoo po yon.”
With Coca speaking out, those who love and care about TVJ (Tito, Vic, and Joey) and Pepsi Paloma are hopeful that the longstanding issue will finally be put to rest. As of press time, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon have yet to react to the statements made by Coca Nicolas.
