Small Laude Airs Dismay at PAL After Her Daughter Gets Left Behind Due to Airline’s Wrong Decision

Small Laude: “My daughter got left behind because of PAL’s wrong decision”

SMALL LAUDE – The content creator and socialite expressed her dismay with Philippine Airlines (PAL) after her daughter was left behind due to their incorrect decision

Born as Marissa Eduardo, Small grew up in a well-off family. The Eduardo family is known for owning garment export businesses in Manila, rice milling businesses in Bulacan, and rice trading businesses in Nueva Ecija. Her nickname, Small, originated from her father, who used to affectionately describe her as “small” when she was a child. She has an older sister, Alice Eduardo, renowned as the founder and CEO of Sta. Elena Construction and Development Corporation, one of the largest construction firms in the country.

Small Laude married Philip Laude on October 31, 1993, a scion of the family that owns Candyman, the manufacturer of Viva, Kendi Mint, and White Rabbit. They met through a common friend while Small was studying at St. Paul University, and Philip was a student at De La Salle University.

Despite initial challenges, including struggling to conceive, the couple eventually had four children: PJ, Michael, Timothy, and Allison.

Currently, Small resides in a multi-million, six-story resort-inspired home designed by the renowned architect Ed Calma. Apart from family businesses, the couple has their ventures, including Timson Printing and Timson Securities, a brokerage firm.

Recently, she took to social media to air her frustration with Philippine Airlines. According to her, her daughter Allison experienced being left behind due to PAL’s incorrect decision. This unfortunate incident disrupted their family vacation, causing significant stress. Allison, Small Laude’s daughter, was visibly upset, shedding tears as she left the airport to return home.

The check-in manager claimed to have contacted the Japanese Embassy, stating that Allison’s Canadian temporary passport would not be accepted in Japan. However, it was later discovered that no such call had been made, and they subsequently found out that Allison’s passport was permitted for entry into Japan. Small Laude believes that PAL should take responsibility for their decisions in this matter.
