Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera opened up about doing an intimate scene for “Rewind”
DINGDONG DANTES AND MARIAN RIVERA – The celebrity couple revealed that they’re having trouble with the intimate scene on their film “Rewind”.
“Rewind” is one of the official film entries for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) and it marks the comeback of the DongYan tandem on the big screen.
Dingdong and Marian have been married since 2014 and have a son named Sixto and a daughter named Zia.
The celebrity couple appeared on Wednesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where they opened up about doing an intimate scene for the film.
Dingdong shared that shooting for the movie was more manageable now that they are married — except for an intimate scene. Marian, for her part, said that doing an intimate scene was the hardest to pull off when they’re acting as a married couple.
“Ang hirap kasi ‘pag example, hindi naman kami magka-relasyon before, pero kailangan namin siya (intimate scene) gawin kasi ‘yun ‘yung character na hinihingi samin ng director,” Marian said. “Pero, ngayon na mag asawa na kami, parang na-o-off kaming gawin na, malalaman n’yo kasi kung paano kami as a mag-asawa.“
According to the actress, they asked their director if they can just dim the lighting for the intimate scene.
Meanwhile, Dingdong is set to star in an MMFF entry titled “Firefly”. Other cast members for GMA Public Affairs and GMA Pictures’ flagship movie include Miguel Tanfelix, Alessandra de Rossi, Max Collins, Ysabel Ortega, and more.
Both “Rewind” and “Firefly” will hit the cinemas on December 25, 2023.
In the same interview, the celebrity couple also shared how they will celebrate Christmas this year. Dingdong said that they will go around the theaters to thank those who are watching their film and it will be their first time to do it on Christmas day.
