DANIEL PADILLA – The actor was booed and called a cheater during his acceptance speech at the Asia Artist Awards 2023.
Daniel is an actor and recording artist, considered one of the most prominent young actors in the Philippines, who has gained widespread recognition for his contributions to the entertainment industry.
Padilla made his debut in the entertainment industry with a supporting role in the soap opera “Gimik 2010” in 2010. He rose to fame when he landed the lead role in “Growing Up” in 2011. Since then, he has been part of several successful television series, including “Princess and I,” “Got to Believe,” “Pangako Sa ‘Yo,” “La Luna Sangre,” and “2 Good 2 Be True.”
In the film industry, Daniel Padilla has achieved success with roles in movies such as “Must Be… Love,” “Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay,” “She’s Dating the Gangster,” “Crazy Beautiful You,” “Barcelona: A Love Untold,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and “The Hows of Us.” His films have earned significant box office revenue, and he became the lead actor in the highest-grossing Filipino film at the time, “The Hows of Us.”
In his personal life, Daniel Padilla is known for his relationship with fellow actress Kathryn Bernardo. The two publicly disclosed their romantic involvement in 2018 but announced the end of their romantic relationship in November 2023.
It was just recently when Daniel attended the 8th Asia Artist Awards to receive his Fabulous Award alongside Kathryn Bernardo, NewJeans, Stray Kids, and Lim Young-woong. However, Daniel was booed and called a cheater during his speech. Watch the video below:
