Here’s what you can do in case something goes wrong with your money transfer on your Maya account.
MAYA ACCOUNT – This article will teach you about the things you need to do in case something goes wrong with your money transfer.
Formerly known as PayMaya, Maya Philippines is an all-in-one app that combines a secure, progressive digital banking experience and a feature-rich digital wallet.
With Maya, you can grow, spend, invest, save, and master your money. But there are times that something goes wrong when you want to transfer your money to a bank or to another wallet.
Here’s what you can do in case something goes wrong with your money transfer on your account:
If your transaction was affected by a system timeout or a service interruption, all affected transactions will be completed in different ways once the service or system issue is resolved – either your money will be returned to the sender the next banking day or you money will be credited to the recipient in three (3) banking days.
If you think that the account you transferred your money to does not exist, Maya can help you recover your money in 5-7 banking days. To do this, you need to contact Maya’s customer support through email, call, or chat.
But if you mistakenly transferred your money to an existing account, Maya won’t be able to reverse the transaction for you. The best you can do is to try contacting the owner of the existing account to see if they can transfer the money back to you.
Keep in mind that you need to double-check the amount and the account details of the receiver before transferring the money in order to avoid that mistake.
