Vice Ganda Reveals Reason Why ‘GGV’ Is Not Yet Back On Air

Vice Ganda: “I was actually asked by the management when I signed my new contract if I wanted to do GGV again.”

VICE GANDA – The Kapamilya host revealed the reason why “Gandang Gabi Vice” or “GGV” is not yet back on air.

A fan asked him on X (formerly known as Twitter) what’s stopping the Kapamilya network to bring back the show.

In response to a question from a fan, Vice said that he was actually approached by the ABS-CBN management and asked him if he wanted to do the show again.

According to him, he turned down the offer to bring back the show because he couldn’t do three shows at once anymore. He also clarified that he’s open to doing “Gandang Gabi Vice” again, although he noted that the show would be on a “seasonal” basis.

I was actually asked by the management when I signed my new contract if I wanted to do GGV again. I couldn’t do 3 shows anymore,” Vice said. “Baka pagtapos ng Everybody Sing let’s see kung keri ko na. Pero seasonal na lang. Di ko na keri ‘yung another 10 years.

In a separate post on X, Vice admitted that he got tired of interviewing the same guests all over again and it’s one of the reasons why he “decided to sign off”. He also said that he hopes he’ll feature more guests in the show since the network war is over.

Vice then expressed his gratitude to his fans who expressed their support for the talk show in separate posts, saying he’s hoping that his “body and mind” can handle the task in the future.

Meanwhile, the Kapamilya host posted a series of photos on his Instagram account where he and other “It’s Showtime” hosts can be seen having a fun vacation together in Hong Kong while on a break.

It can be recalled that Vice graced Sorsogon with a performance that brought laughter and delight to the community. At that time, he performed Kamikazee’s hit song “Narda” in front of the crowd.
