Ruru Madrid: “Sakto nandoon si Sir Coco. Nilapitan ko po siya, nakaupo siya, sabi ko, ‘Sir Coco, magandang gabi po!’”
RURU MADRID – The “Black Rider” actor recently shared that he accidentally met “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” actor Coco Martin in an event.
The Kapuso Primetime Action Hero said at the media conference for the upcoming series “Black Rider” at Studio 6 in GMA Annex Studio that Coco hugged him tightly when they accidentally met each other.
He also said that Coco told him that he watched “Lolong” and even told him “Sobrang husay mo, pagbutihin mo ‘yan”.
According to him, Coco even mentioned that they’re already preparing for the arrival of “Black Rider” because they have the same time slot in primetime. He added that Coco encouraged him to continue what he’s doing.
“‘Pinaghahandaan ka na namin’ tapos tumawa siya,” he said. “Niyakap po niya ulit ako, ang sabi niya sa akin, ‘Pagbutihin mo ‘yang ginagawa mo, nakikita ko ‘yung pagiging makatao mo. Ipagpatuloy mo.’ Sobrang na-a-appreciate ko.”
Ruru also said that the competition will not go away, but he’s more focused on bringing entertainment to the viewers.
He also said that he idolized Coco so much because he can see his love for work, adding that being an actor while directing the series is not a joke. According to him, he has a lot of respect for the Kapamilya actor.
“Black Rider” premieres on November 6, 2023 at 8:00 pm on GMA Telebabad, GTV, and on Facebook and YouTube livestream of GMA Public Affairs.
