Here’s the reaction of netizens to the statement of Yexel Sebastian regarding the investment scam issue
INVESTMENT SCAM – Netizens had mixed reactions to the statement released by toy collector Yexel Sebastian regarding their pressing issue.
Previously, a group of overseas Filipino workers raised concerns about Sebastian and Agustin’s suspected investment scheme during their appearance on Sen. Raffy Tulfo’s public affairs program. At present, the couple is located in Nagoya, Japan, as verified by the Bureau of Immigration. BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco stated that no legal action or case has been initiated against them.
In response to the controversy, Yexel took to the social media platform Facebook and published a statement.
In his statement, he emphasized the need to protect himself and his entire family. Initially, he preferred to remain silent, even though they might have appeared negatively. He was willing to handle the situation quietly and peacefully, but things took a different turn, becoming quite noisy.
Yexel also pointed out that their safety is now at risk, and it pains him to witness his entire family deeply concerned for their well-being. In the middle of his message, the toy collector revealed that on April 7, 2022, he and his family participated in a ribbon-cutting event at a legitimate casino in Clark, Pampanga. Following the ribbon-cutting, a significant event occurred where a certain Boss HP, also known as Hector Pantollana, expressed gratitude to all the high-ranking individuals associated with the casino and its branches.
He further asserted that the junket was legitimate, and everyone involved was operating within the bounds of the law. He emphasized that such an operation could not be counterfeited because it is impossible to organize a legitimate junket in a casino if it were illegal.
Meanwhile, netizens had mixed reactions to the statement released by Yexel Sebastian. One netizen wrote: “Ang haba ng sinabe mo pero wala naman dun ung point (emojis) ang lau brad.” Another netizen commented: “Yung intro pa victim agad” while another social media user asked: “san na nga yung kita?”
