NAVAL ARCHITECT BOARD EXAM RESULT OCTOBER 2023 – The list of topnotchers is expected to release on or before October 11, 2023 or in 3 working days after the last day of board exam.

PRC conducted the board exam at testing centers in Metro Manila on October 4-6, 2023. It was last October 3, 2023 when PRC announced that Cebu and Davao have been removed as testing centers for this board exam.

Members Rizalito S. Lanoy and William B. Hernandez of the PRC Board of Naval Architecture administered the board examinations.

NAVAL ARCHITECT BOARD EXAM COVERAGE

The board exam covered the following topics:

  • Mathematics, Hydraulics, Strength of Materials, Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, and General Engineering
  • Principles of Marine Engineering including Resistance, Powering Machinery, Power Plants, Application of Modern Electrical Units, Equipment, Propeller and Shafting
  • Principles of Naval Architecture including Stability, Flooding and Subdivision, Speed Selection Weight Estimates, Economics of Operations
  • Philippine Merchant Marine Regulations and Code of Ethics
  • Ship Design, Building and Classing Steel and Wooden Vessels, Construction Methods and Practice (Excerpt of Rules of Ship Classing of Vessel shall be provided as reference)

REMINDER

The Naval Architect Board Exam Result October 2023 may be released by the PRC earlier or later than the expected release date without prior notice.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

Registrants are advised to register online through the official website of the Professional Regulation Commission and follow the steps in online registration.

Here are the following registration requirements: Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only); Duly accomplished Oath Form or “Panunumpa ng Propesyonal”; two pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag; two sets of documentary stamp; and one piece short brown envelope.

In addition, successful board examinees shall personally register and sign in the “Roster of Registered Professionals”.
