Mikee Quintos and Paul Salas’s lawyer Atty. Lance Tan: “No one should be victimized by these ponzi schemes”
MIKEE QUINTOS AND PAUL SALAS’S LAWYER – Atty. Lance Tan called for the representatives of a cryptocurrency group to reach out to his clients.
The celebrity couple and 7 other victims filed a syndicated estafa case against cryptocurrency group Cronus Holdings Corporation for allegedly scamming them out of PHP 8 million.
Five individuals are named in their complaint: John David Ortiz, Margarita Ortiz-Tan, Ralph Torres, Delfin Villaruel Jr., and Julian Vincent Parado.
In a statement sent to “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” on Tuesday, Atty. Lance Tan said that they’re determined to pursue the case in order to ensure the service of justice and no one should be victimized by those ponzi schemes.
The lawyer of the celebrity couple also called for John David Ortiz and other respondents to reach out to his clients.
“To [John] David Ortiz and the rest of the respondents, reach out to us. Otherwise, we will use the power of the law to attain justice for our clients,” Atty. Lance Tan said in a statement.
Atty. Lance Tan previously said that his clients are open to reaching a settlement with the respondents as those individuals are still in their early 20s. Aside from this, he also said that one of the respondents is a college student.
Cronus Holdings Corporation is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). But according to its certificate of incorporation, which was provided by Mikee’s camp, the company is not allowed to accept investments without a secondary license from the SEC.
