A Reddit Premium subscription is a subscription that auto-renews every month or every year. With this subscription, members use Reddit ad-free, custom app icons, exclusive avatar gear, and access to r/lounge private subreddit.
If you’re using the web version of the platform, you can purchase Reddit Premium from the Reddit Premium page. But if you’re using the mobile app version of the platform, you can purchase Reddit Premium by tapping on your avatar in order to open your profile menu and selecting Reddit Premium.
Reddit already discontinued the monthly coin drip and Premium Awards as part of the perks of the Reddit Premium subscription. Other perks – including the ad-free experience – still exist.
The tutorial may vary depending on the payment method you used to subscribe. Here’s how to cancel your subscription:
- If you purchased it with your Apple ID, you can manage and cancel your subscription through your iOS device’s “Account Settings” or in the “Manage Subscriptions” section of the Apple App Store. From there, you will be able to select Reddit Premium from your list of subscriptions and cancel it.
- If you purchased it using Paypal or a credit card, you can manage and cancel your subscription by visiting the “Subscriptions” section of your “User Settings” on reddit.com.
- If you purchased it using Google Play, you can manage and cancel your subscription by visiting the “Subscriptions” section of Google Play. From there, you will be able to select Reddit Premium from you list of subscriptions and cancel it.
