Lexi Gonzales: “Sabi ko, ano kayang feeling ng ganitong trabaho mo”
LEXI GONZALES – The Kapuso actress recently opened up about her dream when she was little.
The Kapuso actress is the celebrity guest in the latest episode on “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel” podcast where she opened up about her dream when she was a child.
Lexi said in an interview with Pia Arcangel that she wanted to become a “newscaster and then singer on the side” when she was little, but she never thought that she’d be an actress.
According to the actress, she watched all the news shows of GMA Network – from “Imbestigador” to “24 Oras” to Pia Arcangel’s “Art Angel”.
“Sabi ko, ano kayang feeling ng ganitong trabaho mo. And bukod pa doon, you raise an entire generation eh,” the actress said in an interview. “So sabi ko, ang inspiring nitong trabaho na ito.”
The actress also said that she wanted to be a newscaster someday, but she will study and really go through a lot of challenges and training first.
Lexi is one of the courtside reporters for NCAA Season 99. The Kapuso actress and other courtside reporters deliver the latest updates from the 10 member schools.
In the same interview, the Kapuso actress shared that her entrance to showbiz was not easy, especially since she was barred from auditioning at first. For her, GMA Network was her top choice.
She said that she went through a lot of trials, but she was able to get into “Starstruck” in 2019 and was able to sign the contract with Sparkle and GMA Network in 2020.
Aside from this, she also revealed in an interview with Pia Arcangel that Kapuso actor Gil Cuerva is her first serious boyfriend. The Kapuso actress even shared that it’s her first time to have a boyfriend.
