Here’s the latest update about the health condition of Kris Aquino
KRIS AQUINO – The former actress-television host appears to be responding well to her medical treatments in the United States, as she shared some positive health updates on Instagram.
In a heartfelt caption, Kris expressed her gratitude to those who have been continuously praying for her. She mentioned that while she hasn’t received all her complete blood panel results yet, there is a noticeable improvement in her inflammatory numbers, particularly her C-reactive protein and E-sedimentation rate.
Despite still awaiting some test results, Kris is cautiously optimistic, saying that things are “so far, so good.” She credited her survival through the side effects of methotrexate and her biological injectable treatment to the prayers for her healing. Kris expressed her hope for a health clearance to return home in six months and reach remission in 18 to 20 months.
She also shared her longing for her family, friends, and followers, as it has already been 16 months since she left. In May, Kris had started taking “baby doses” of methotrexate, a medication used to treat various conditions, including cancer, psoriasis, and rheumatoid arthritis, after discovering that she had multiple autoimmune conditions, possibly six.
Towards the end of her post, Kris clarified her relationship status, stating that she is not in a relationship anymore and has ceased communication, bringing peace to both her and her sons. She specifically referred to her previous involvement with Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste. Kris chose not to divulge details, emphasizing her commitment to maintaining privacy and respecting Mark’s privacy as well. She noted that she would only share factual information that needed addressing.
Earlier this year, Kris and Mark revealed their romantic relationship, with Kris speaking fondly of the love and friendship they shared. However, in July, she requested a “pause” in their relationship, explaining that they were not compatible. Last month, Kris instructed Mark not to contact her. Currently, Kris, along with her sons Josh and Bimby, is in the United States receiving treatment for her autoimmune conditions.
