John Lloyd Cruz: “Si Isabel ay girlfriend ko, boyfriend niya ako”
JOHN LLOYD CRUZ – The award-winning actor has confirmed that he is in a relationship with visual artist Isabel Santos.
The actor confirmed this when he was asked in an interview with talk show host Boy Abunda on Tuesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” about the status of his relationship with the visual artist.
John Lloyd is one of the guests of talk show host Boy Abunda for his week-long birthday celebration in “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” this week.
In an interview, the actor said that Isabel is his girlfriend and he’s her boyfriend. Tito Boy then encouraged John Lloyd to share more details about his relationship with Isabel, but he didn’t say much about her.
He shared that he met her when he took a hiatus in show business industry and ventured into the arts, adding that he has known the visual artist from way back. According to the actor, he and his partner were talking before but it didn’t evolve into something ideal for the two of them at that time.
“Gallery nila yung una kong pinasok na gallery. At the time na bago pa lang ako tumigil with ABS-CBN, napadpad ako sa pag-explore ng arts circle. So gallery nila yung una kong napasok. Sila yung una kong nakilala. Family nila. Kung sino yung nga patrons ng gallery nila,” he said. “We were talking before but hindi nag-evolved into something ideal for us at that time. Mula noon present na siya sa buhay ko.”
John Lloyd was also asked in an interview if his relationship with Isabel made him believe in marriage. In response to the question, he said yes and shared that his partner is very elemental in such things.
Prior to Isabel Santos, the actor was in a relationship with actress Ellen Adarna from 2017 to 2018. The former couple have a son, Elias, who just turned 5 last June.
