What is Starlink?

Starlink is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) founded by Elon Musk through his aerospace company, SpaceX. Its primary mission is to bring internet access to areas with limited coverage and serve as a backup for existing infrastructure.

Starlink utilizes a network of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites, providing significantly faster speeds compared to traditional satellite internet providers. This means you can now engage in activities such as web browsing, streaming, voice/video calls, and online gaming using Starlink.

However, it’s essential to keep in mind that, as a wireless/satellite-based system, Starlink’s internet connection may occasionally experience fluctuations, unlike the stability of wired or fiber-optic connections. If you already have access to wired connectivity in your area, it’s advisable to use that unless your existing infrastructure is significantly inferior.
