If you are visiting Indonesia to see its beautiful and scenic tourist spots, you must apply for a Tourist Visa. It is meant for short and temporary stays in the country for the purpose of tourism. Here are the requirements to apply for an Indonesia visa based on this purpose:

  • duly-accomplished Indonesia Visa Application Form
  • Philippine passport that is valid for at least six (6) months upon arrival in Indonesia
  • copy of your valid Residence Permit/Visa if you are not a citizen of the country you live in
  • Passport-size picture
    • 3cm x 4 cm or 4cm x 6cm in size
    • either a white or red background
    • look at the camera straight ahead
    • no hats, head coverings, bandanas, sunglasses, or prescription glasses
  • copy of your round-trip or onward travel ticket
  • proof of sufficient financial means like bank statments
  • letter of invitation if you will be visiting friends in Indonesia
  • letter of invitation if you were invited by an organization
  • proof of having paid the Indonesia visa fee

There are individuals who love or dream to study in other countries. If you want to do it in Indonesia, you must secure a Student Visa which needs the following documentary requirements for an Indonesian Visa application:

  • copy of your passport
  • copy of the Letter of Acceptance Letter from your university
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • copy of the study permit from the Ministry of National Education
  • copy of the Recommendation Letter from your university addressed to the Directorate of Immigration
  • copy of your academic transcript and records
  • two recent passport-size pictures (4×6 cm)

    • duly-accomplished RPTKA application form
    • letter from employer explaining the reason for hiring and the position
    • company documents
    • organizational structure of the company
    • company’s annual reports on number of local and international employees
    • Letter of recommendation from another institution/organization
  • IMTA Application
    • RPTKA
    • copy of your passport
    • proof of education and experience related to your field/occupation and the position you will have
    • certificate of work experience
    • letter from you indicating your affirmation to the employment
    • proof of an insurance policy issued by an Indonesian insurance company
    • National Social Security policy and Tax identification number (NPWP)
    • proof of payment of the DPKK (Skill & Development Fund) Fee ($1,200/year)
    • two passport-size colour pictures of yourself

For business purposes, prepare the requirements for an Indonesia Business Visa application and submit them to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Manila. Here are the documents that you will need:

  • duly-accomplished Indonesia Visa Application Form
