Kaori Oinuma: “Ako, inuunti-unti ko s’ya. Ayokong mabigla”
KAORI OINUMA – The Filipino-Japanese actress recently opened up about accepting mature roles.
The actress was interviewed by the entertainment press after the special screening and grand media conference for the upcoming digital series, “Fractured”.
Kaori has already experienced an on-screen kiss with her love-team partner, Jeremiah Lisbo. The actress even described it as her first-ever kissing scene. With this, she was asked if that’s the start of her accepting more matured roles.
In an interview, she said she has leveled up from the roles that she played before, but that doesn’t mean that she will be aggressive in accepting the mature roles that will be offered to her.
Kaori also said that it depends on what kind of kiss she will do in a scene for her to say yes to mature roles that will be offered to her.
“Ako, inuunti-unti ko s’ya. Ayokong mabigla,” Kaori said in an interview with the entertainment press. “Kung smack, okey. G [Go] po ako. Pero pag more than that na, wait lang po. Wait lang, saglit lang. Ganu’n po muna ako.”
The Filipino-Japanese actress also said that she’s still willing to return to doing romantic-comedy role if such a project is given to her because “wala naman akong nararamdamang ganu’n off cam”.
However, she said that I’m happy with the path she’s taking at the moment.
Kaori Oinuma is set to star in the mystery-thriller “Fractured”. Other cast members for the digital series include Jeremiah Lisbo, Francine Diaz, Raven Rigor, Sean Tristan, Seth Fedelin, and many more.
The “Fractured” series will start this coming September 15, 2023 on iWantTFC.
