Jimmy Fallon issues apology for fostering “toxic workplace”

JIMMY FALLON – The host of NBC’s “Tonight Show” has issued an apology to his staff following accusations of fostering a “toxic workplace.”

Fallon, a renowned comedian and prominent figure in American late-night television, faced allegations from two current employees and 14 former members of the “Tonight Show” staff regarding his “erratic behavior.” Some described the show as a “toxic workplace for years.”

According to an unnamed source interviewed by Rolling Stone, Fallon, 48, exhibited instances of snapping at crew members, displaying irritation over minor issues, and subjecting staff to berating and belittlement out of frustration.

It was disclosed that employees of the “Tonight Show” had raised concerns about the psychological impact of Fallon’s behavior, to the extent that some referred to dressing rooms as “crying rooms.” These complaints were officially reported to NBC’s human resources department.

In response to these allegations, Jimmy Fallon and showrunner Chris Miller organized a virtual meeting during which Fallon offered a heartfelt apology and expressed his remorse. He stated, “Sorry if I embarrassed you and your family and friends… I feel so bad I can’t even tell you,” and emphasized his desire for the show to be enjoyable, inclusive, and humorous for everyone involved.
