A GCash is a mobile wallet service that allows users 18 and above to pay bills, buy goods and services, buy load, and even send or receive money. On the other hand, GCash Jr is mobile wallet service designed for youth ages 7 to 17 years old.
The difference between GCash and GCash Jr is that Link GCash Card, GSave, GInvest, and GInsure are not applicable for GCash Jr.
If you’re a minor and you want to fully verify your account, your parent must give consent in the form of requirements and must also agree to the terms and conditions of the platform.
Here is the list of requirements:
- An original copy of your birth certificate
- A valid ID (could be a Philippine passport, a student ID, or a national ID)
- Your parent that is Fully Verified on GCash with the following details your parent’s full name and GCash number, as well as a photo of your parent holding your ID used in verification
