Ryan Bang: “Dito ako lumaki eh, dito ako mamamatay. Habang buhay ako dito.”
RYAN BANG – The “It’s Showtime” host recently shared his desire to stay in the Philippines for good.
The Korean host is one of the hosts of Kapamilya noontime show “It’s Showtime”.
Ryan Bang, together with fellow “It’s Showtime” host Jhong Hilario, appeared on Tuesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where he bared his plans to stay in the country for good.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, Ryan Bang said that he grew up in the Philippines and he will live in the Philippines for good. He added that he loves the Philippines and he loves how Filipinos love him.
The TV personality said that he constantly prays that he may be used as an instrument for good so that he can help Filipinos. He added that he only wanted to bring joy to Filipinos before, but he wants to help Filipinos improve their lives.
“Nagpe-pray ako gabi-gabi kay Lord, kay Jesus Christ na ‘Lord, gamitin niyo po ako.’ Dati kasi gusto ko magpasaya ng Pilipino,” Ryan said. “Ngayon, gusto ko maraming-maraming Pilipino yumaman dahil sa ‘kin.”
Ryan also said that he wants to be able to give back the kind of love Filipinos have been giving him.
In the same interview, the TV host revealed that he’s ready to settle down and live with his “forever Filipina” because “nakaipon na ako”. He then recalled that he was told by the King of Talk when he was “bata pa lang” that he should save his money.
The Korean host also admitted that he’s currently courting someone, whom he already introduced to his parents via FaceTime. He then quipped that his parents advised him: “Bilisan mo na bago sya magising. Bago sya mauntog, bilisan mo na anak!”
