Rendon Labador to Geely Philippines: “Medyo dumadami na ang mga taong nag papadala saakin ng concerns about your brand”
RENDON LABADOR – The motivational speaker, turned to social media, wherein he called the attention of the distributors of China-manufactured cars – Geely, in the country.
Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, commonly known as Geely, is a Chinese multinational automotive company founded by Li Shufu in 1986. Geely entered the automotive industry in 1997 and has since become a major player in both the Chinese and global car markets.
Its subsidiary, Geely Auto, is the seventh-largest car manufacturer in China and sold over 2.2 million cars globally in 2021. The company produces vehicles under various brands including Geely Auto, Geometry, Livan, Zeekr, and also owns foreign brands such as Volvo Cars, Polestar, and Lotus. Geely has also expanded into electric vehicles, formed partnerships, and acquired stakes in other car manufacturers.
Previously, some owners of China-manufactured cars turned to social media to voice their complaints about their vehicles, which are only a few months old, and are experiencing issues ranging from engine malfunctions to paint imperfections.
Apparently, Geely has yet to issue any statement addressing the complaints of these owners. This might have prompted Rendon Labador to call the attention of the Philippine distributor of these China-manufactured cars. According to him, if they do not address the raised issues by owners, he will be forced to speak on their behalf.
“Medyo dumadami na ang mga taong nag papadala saakin ng concerns about your brand. Pwede ba ninyo i check yan at tulungan sila? Pag wala kayo ginawa about them, at dumami pa ang taong affected. Mapipilitan na akong mag boses para sakanila,” he noted.
“Tulungan nalang ninyo agad para mag kasundo tayong lahat. and request ko na mag post kayo sa public about this issues. Kapag ayaw ninyo, ako na mag popost. Maraming salamat #stayMotivated,” he added.
