In applying for a job in the Philippines, aside from the resume and valid IDs, another common requirement for hiring is a Police Clearance. It is a document that proves that a person is free from derogatory records and charges. This document is issued by the country’s police force, the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Apart from the valid IDs, often times, companies would request the job applicants who passed the screening to submit a Police Clearance, GSIS/SSS membership records, PhilHealth records, and their other personal documents to proceed with the employment. Most companies give the applicants at least two (2) days for the processing of the documents.
In getting a Police Clearance, there are Police Clearance requirements that you should prepare. Meanwhile, the list of documents needed is short and you can check on them below.
In getting a Police Clearance, the Philippine National Police (PNP) requires the presentation of two (2) valid IDs as proof of identity of the person who wants to request for the document. Make sure that the IDs you will bring are within their validity period and state the following important information:

- clear photo

Bring your valid IDs with you and visit the PNP office nearest your residence to request for the Police Clearance. You need to pay the document fee of P150 and the processing of P10 thus you must prepare at least P160 except for your fare expenses.
