KRIS BERNAL — The actress took to social media to share that she and her husband Perry Choi welcomed their first child.
On Instagram, Kris posted a video where she and her husband can be seen carrying their daughter. However, she didn’t show the face of their baby in the said video.
Kris revealed that her daughter’s name is Hailee Lucca — and her daughter has an Instagram account as well.
“Let me tell you a story”
In the caption of her social media post on Wednesday, Kris started her story by sharing that their daughter is already 15 days old and it has been the “most magical days” of their lives. She added that after the “longest pregnancy and hardest labor”, she would do it over so many times to meet her baby girl.
“The bond between a mother and child is one of the strongest in existence. I’m so inlove!!” she said. “It is a kind of love that is never understood until it happens to you.“
According to the actress, her heart is so full and becoming a mother to her first child is the most rewarding and beautiful thing in her life. She went on to express her gratitude to the Lord for giving her and her husband a chance to be parents.
Kris also said that they have been taking some time to themselves to get settled, but for now, they’re “slowing down and soaking up every minute, cherishing it all”.

As seen in @haileelucca’s Instagram bio, Hailee Lucca was born on August 15, 2023 and she’s the “Little Sunshine” of Kris and Perry. A photo of Hailee Lucca was posted on the said account and the meaning of her name was also revealed in the caption of the said post.
In the caption, Kris said her daughter’s name was inspired by the word “Hallelujah” that means “Praise the Lord”. The actress even played the song “Hallelujah” on repeat to soothe her baby to sleep inside her womb.
Aside from this, it was revealed in the caption of the said post that Kris had an “excessive fondness to NBA player Luka Doncic” throughout her entire pregnancy.
“I am a manifestation of God’s divine love, and they are forever thankful for my precious life,” the caption reads.
It was last 2021 when Kris Bernal and Perry Choi tied the knot in a church wedding.
