Guide on Korea Visa Requirements for Local Filipino Employees
KOREA VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYEES – Here are the documents needed in applying for a travel visa to the Korean country.
Korea is one of the most beautiful countries across the globe. That is undeniably the very reason why most travel bucket lists contain this foreign country. A lot of people wants to visit the beautiful tourists spots in Korea, experience the Korean culture, and taste their unique foods. However, an entry to the said foreign country requires a travel visa.
There are a lot of popular tourists spots in Korea including the beautiful sites of the N Seoul Tower, the Myeong-dong, the Gyeongbokgung Palace, the Bukchon Hanok Village, the Coex Aquarium, the Namsan Mountain Park, the popular shopping mall Insa-dong, and the Ihwa Mural Village.
Most tourists in Korea also make sure they don’t miss walking at the Myeong-dong Street, eating at Gwangjang Market, and watching the Myeong Dong NANTA Theatre.
If you are a locally employed Filipino who wants to visit Korea, it is possible by taking the first step to apply for a visa. There are requirements set by the Embassy officials based on the purpose of the visit to Korea.
Here are the Korea Visa requirements for Filipino employees who want to visit the Korean country:
- duly-accomplished Korean Visa Application Form
- Original Passport
- Photocopy of Passport Bio-page (page 2)
- 1 piece of Passport size colored picture
- Original & Photocopy of valid visa/s and arrival stamps to OECD member countries for the past 5 years (If applicable only)
- Copy of PRC Card or IBP Card (If applicable only)
- Bank Statement (original or certified true copy of bank statements/passbook for the last 3 months)
- Original Certificate of Employment [must include applicant’s position, date hired, compensation, office address, HR landline number(cell-phone number is not allowed), HR e-mail address]
- Photocopy of ITR (Income Tax Return) or Form 2316
- Original Personal Bank Certificate [must include account name, account number, account type, current balance, account opening date, 6 months average balance (ADB)]
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) noted that there is no charge if the stay in Korea will be 59 days or below. However, for stays that are within 60 to 90 days, the visa applicant must prepare P2,000. Submit your Korean visa requirements to the Embassy in your country.
For the Filipino visa applicants, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Philippines is located at 122 Upper McKinley Road, McKinley Town Center, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig city 1634, Philippines.
If your target country is the United States, there are also US Visa Application requirements that you must prepare and submit to the U.S. Embassy as it is another country that requires a travel visa for entry.
