Issa Pressman: “I’m gonna be on vocal rest and vocal rehab for three months”
ISSA PRESSMAN – The sister of actress Yassi Pressman revealed that she underwent a surgery in order to remove the cyst on her vocal cord.
The singer recently released a video on her Instagram account where she gave her supporters an update on her health. According to her, she’s currently recuperating after undergoing vocal cord surgery.
Issa also said that she had to undergo vocal cord surgery after her doctors found a cyst on her vocal cord. She added that she’s not allowed to talk for 2 weeks and will go through a “vocal rest” and “vocal rehab” for 3 months.
During that period, the singer said that she’s not allowed to do “crazy talking” and singing. She then assured the public that she’ll be okay.
“There’s a lot for the healing process but then it’s gonna be fun and I’m gonna be OK,” Issa assured her supporters. “I’m just letting you guys know just in case you think I’m sungit or antisocial or whatever—this is my reason.”
In the caption of her social media post, Issa shared that it’s also the reason why she hasn’t been releasing music.
She went on to share that it wasn’t just one cyst but “a couple”, adding that the operation was a tiny incision and she thinks what was major was the anxiety leading up to it – including the uncertainty of how much her voice will change after the operation, as well as the sensitive healing process.
The singer added that she hasn’t spoken in days, but she has been sleeping well, eating even better, and healing good.
It can be recalled that Issa celebrated her 26th birthday last June 3, 2023 with her loved ones – including actor-singer James Reid, sister Yassi Pressman, and actress Julia Barretto.
