In order for you to send a tip to any content creator during livestream, you need to be at least 18 years old (or at least 19 years of if you’re in South Korea).
You need to purchase or recharge Coins through Google Play Store or App Store in order to send a Gift to your favorite content creator.
Here’s how to send a Gift during TikTok Live:
The first thing to do is to watch the livestream of your favorite content creator on TikTok. During the livestream, you need to tap the “Gift” button at the bottom, choose the Gift you would like to send, and then tap “Send” below the Gift.
You can also tap “Recharge” if you need to recharge your Coins and you need to follow the instructions provided in order to complete payment.
In order to be eligible to send a Gift to your favorite content creator, you need to be at least 18 years old (or adhere to the local age requirement). But Gifts are only available in selected countries and sending Gifts is subject to the company’s virtual items policies.
According to TikTok, you can’t send a Gift to live videos from government, politician, political party accounts, and other public interest accounts.
