SUNSHINE DIZON – The “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” actress recently shared what made her say yes to return to acting.
The actress is one of the stars in the upcoming drama series “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso”. Other cast members include Loisa Andalio, Alexa Ilacad, Elisse Joson, and Charlie Dizon.
To recall, it was last May when Sunshine was announce as part of the cast members of the upcoming drama series.
During the press conference for the upcoming drama series, Sunshine shared that she’s on hiatus for almost two years when “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” was offered to her.
“To be honest, I wasn’t very sure kung babalik pa ako. Pero nung nag-usap kami ng manager ko, sabi ko parang ngayon lang ulit ako nakabasa ng script na very challenging, very interesting, and parang bago sa panlasa, bago lahat,” she said.
According to her, she can’t say no after reading a script again that’s “very challenging”, “very interesting”, and seems to be new to her taste. She added that she feels like she really has to do it.

Sunshine also shared that she’s very thankful to Deo Endrinal, Dreamscape, and ABS-CBN for giving her the opportunity to be part of the drama series.
The actress made headlines last year after she revealed that she had been diagnosed with depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
She revealed her condition after she was rushed to the hospital for an unknown cause at that time. The actress also shared that she was taking several medications and already getting treatment for her condition.
