Sharon Cuneta: “Sinabi ng doc ko kailangan ko daw i-rest ang voice ko ng one week”
SHARON CUNETA – The singer-actress recently shared that she underwent nasal endoscopy to treat her clogged nose.
The Megastar posted a photo of herself on her social media account and revealed that she had to undergo nasal endoscopy as part of her treatment, during which an endoscope is inserted through the nasal cavity in order to examine the sinus passages.
“Went to my doctor in St. Luke’s BGC yesterday. She inserted a camera into my nose and mouth. Sobrang clogged daw ang ilong ko and my throat is so swollen and papunta nang infection kaya ang dami kong gamot ngayon,” she said.
Sharon said that her doctor informed her that she may have gotten used to having a clogged nose and a bad throat, without realizing that it could develop into a more serious condition.
The Megastar then recalled that she was already feeling that her throat was acting up before her guesting at the premier episode of E.A.T. on TV5.

According to the Megastar, she has been advised by her doctor to rest her voice for a week.
She added that her condition may have been exacerbated by stress, and that’s the reason why she had to miss some shooting days of her upcoming movie with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards, “A Mother and Son’s Story”.
Directed by Nuel Naval, “A Mother and Son’s Story” has been one of the first 4 entries confirmed for the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
To recall, Sharon appeared in a pilot episode of “E.A.T …” — the new noontime show of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon (TVJ) on TV5 — where she aired her sentiments on TVJ’s experience.
