K BROSAS – The comedienne became emotional as she opened up about her relationship with her mother.
The comedienne appeared on Wednesday’s episode on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where she spoke about her relationship with her mother.
At the last part of the show, the comedienne said “yes” when she was asked in an interview with the King of Talk if she had already forgiven her mother.
K went on to share a message for her mother, saying that she wanted to resolve the issues between them. The comedienne added that she has always said she owes a lot to her mother.
“Hindi ko pinagkakait ‘yon, malaki utang na loob ko. I will be eternally grateful. Pero sana tama na,” she said. “Tama na ‘yung sumbat…gusto ko lang namang maging proud, marining ko eh na, ‘Proud of you! Proud ako sa pagpapalaki mo sa anak mo.’”
She didn’t share the reason why she’s not on good terms with her mother, but GMA News Online reported that she mentioned in an interview in 2021 that she and her mother seldom saw each other and didn’t have any “relationship”.

K also told Boy Abunda that she wants to start fresh again.
In the same interview, the comedienne said that she can live without a male partner and she also doesn’t believe that someone will come to complete her.
“Ano ka puzzle? Hindi ka naman puzzle. Leggo?” she said in jest. “Pero kapag ibinigay ni Lord, why not. Pero ayoko ng pilit.”
She also said that she’s happy being single. But when she was asked “Are you closing your doors?”, she responded “no” and said she’s okay being single and she doesn’t need a man to define her.
