Facebook allows you to create a story on the platform by sharing photos, videos, and posts that will only be visible for 24 hours.
You can revisit the photos, videos, and posts you shared on your story in your story archive after 24 hours.
Here’s a step-by-step process on how to create and share you story on Facebook:
First, you need to click/tap “Create a Story” at the top of your Facebook feed. Next, you can do either of the following depending on the device you’re using.
- If you’re using a computer, you can either select “Create a photo story” to add a video or a photo from your computer or select “Create a text story” if you want to post only text on your story.
- If you’re using a mobile device, you can do any of the following: take a video or photo to add to your story; select a photo or video from your gallery; create a text story; create a music story; create a selfie story; or create a Boomerang story.
After that, you can share your story by tapping “Share to Story” (if you’re using a computer) or “Share” (if you’re using a mobile device). Keep in mind that you can also view your Facebook story on Messenger as well.
You can also delete your post if you don’t like what you posted on your story. To delete your post, you need to open your story, click/tap the three dots on the post you want to delete, and then choose “Delete photo” or “Delete video”.
