Although Maya Credit is on early access to select Maya users, here’s a step-by-step process on how to apply for Maya Credit:
First, you need to download Maya app on Google Play Store (on Android) or on App Store (on iPhone) and create an account by entering the necessary personal information on the app.
After that, you need to upgrade your Maya account so you can use Maya Credit on the app.
Once done, you need to go to the Credit dashboard in your Maya app and then tap “Sign up for Maya Credit”. After that, you need to check your eligibility and credit limit before tapping “Activate Now”.
In order to become eligible for Maya Credit, you need to be at least 21 years old and not over 65 years old, have an upgraded Maya account, have a good credit standing, and be active in using the app for buying load, bills payment, online purchases, and more.
Your eligibility and credit limit are based on how you use Maya’s services. The more actively and consistently you have used Maya’s services prior to applying for Maya Credit, the higher your potential credit limit.
