ANGELU DE LEON – The daughter of the actress-turned-politician named Loise graduated with honors as cum laude from Ateneo de Manila University.

In a heartfelt post on Instagram, De Leon expressed her admiration for her daughter’s determination and high standards. She emphasized that Loise deserves nothing but the best in life because she never settles for anything less.

De Leon jokingly added that Loise must have inherited those qualities from her. However, she humbly acknowledged that the credit for the achievement belongs entirely to Loise, as they witnessed firsthand the hard work she put into earning her cum laude distinction.

De Leon also assured her daughter that the family will always be there to support and cheer her on in her future endeavors. De Leon concluded the message by sending her blessings and prayers, asking for God’s guidance in Loise’s next chapter of life.

Loise is the daughter of De Leon and Jojo Manlongat. Apart from Loise, De Leon also has a daughter with actor Joko Diaz, and she shares a son named Rafa with her husband, Wowie Rivera.

Meanwhile, Angelu de Leon whose real name is Maria Luisa Angela Martinez de Leon-Rivera, is a renowned actress and politician. Starting her acting career at a young age, she gained popularity through various television shows and movies. She became known for her onscreen partnership with Bobby Andrews and starred in notable films like “Silaw” and “T.G.I.S.: The Movie.”

Despite facing challenges, including a hiatus due to pregnancy, Angelu successfully made a comeback and showcased her acting skills in diverse roles. In recent years, she ventured into politics and ran as a councilor in Pasig’s 2nd district previously. Her dedication and popularity led her to become the number one councilor in the district.
