YAYAMANIN – A bank officer goes viral online after sharing the photo of air pods being used as a padlock on her co-worker’s locker.
Sometimes, people come up with the most unexpected and amusing ways to secure their belongings. This was the case when Francis Singson, a bank officer, shared a post on social media featuring an AirPods case used as a makeshift padlock on her co-worker’s locker.
The weird idea sparked amusement among netizens, who playfully labeled it as “yayamanin” or “rich people” move.
Singson explained that it was merely a coincidence that their assigned lockers were placed side by side. The bank officer shared that she had seen various improvised padlocks before, but this was the first time she had encountered AirPods being used in such a creative way, which made her chuckle.
“Nagkataon lang po niyan na nagkatabi kami ng assigned locker. Madami na kong nakitang nag-improvise ng padlock pero first time kong nakakita ng airpods kaya natawa din ako pagkakita ko,” Singson said,
To her surprise, it took the owner of the AirPods two days to discover the unconventional lock on their locker. “Noong medyo nag-spread na yung post, luckily nakarating sa may-ari nung airpods Hindi niya pala kasi matandaan kung saan niya nilagay yun,” Francis shared.
The owner only realized it’s missing AirPods when they saw Francis’ post. It was quite amusing to realize how secure their workplace was, with no one daring to take the unique lock.
