Assunta de Rossi: “Ang dami kong priorities noon. E, di eto na ngayon, and in-accept ko naman”
ASSUNTA DE ROSSI – The actress recently shared that she has no plans to return to the showbiz industry.
The actress has been married to her husband Jules Ledesma since 2002.
Assunta and her husband have difficulties conceiving a child as she suffered from endometriosis and myoma, but she suddenly found out in 2020 that she was pregnant right before the Philippines went into lockdown because of the pandemic.
It was in October that year when the actress gave birth to Fiore, whom she called her “miracle baby”.
The actress said that she has no plans to return to showbiz as she’s focused on raising her daughter. According to a report on PEP.ph, she said that she has dedicated her life to motherhood and also made her daughter her no. 1 priority.
“Ang tagal ko siyang inantay. So, nung dumating nga siya, siguro parang naisip ko nga rin na it is a new chapter,” she said. “OK na! Ang tagal ko nang artista. Ang tagal ko nang ibang tao ‘yung winu-worry ko. Ang dami kong priorities noon. E, di eto na ngayon, and in-accept ko naman.“

She was asked how long will she prioritize her daughter and put aside her showbiz career, she said “Hanggang kaya ko.” But when asked if she wants to have a second child, the actress said that she doesn’t know if she can do it since she’s already 40 years old.
Assunta was also asked if her sister Alessandra gets jealous of her now that she has a child. The actress said that this is not the case as her sister treats her daughter like her own.
