Adorable 2-Year-Old Kid from Cebu Goes Viral for Selling Bottled Water

Kid selling bottled water goes viral

CEBU – A heartwarming and endearing TikTok video featuring a father’s adorable two-year-old son selling bottled water to graduates in Balamban, Cebu has become a sensation on social media.

The video, posted by Shane Briane Sumalo, showcases his little son, Kaikai, enthusiastically assisting them in selling water to students preparing for their graduation. As of Thursday, July 20, 2023, the video has captured the attention of millions.

Shane and his wife, Gildamae, made it clear that they never instructed their son to engage in this activity regularly. Rather, Kaikai independently decided to participate, driven by his own enjoyment and curiosity.

The couple was in the kitchen when they were pleasantly surprised to discover that their young son had taken the initiative to sell water. It appears that Kaikai may have been influenced by observing his parents’ daily routine at their eatery, where they sell food, and he often accompanies them, even while they attend to their own studies.

The video was recorded on July 12 during the graduation ceremony of Nangka National High School at the Balamban Complex. Kaikai, full of enthusiasm, remained at his selling post for a significant amount of time until the rain interrupted his venture.

Shane and Gildamae run a food business in Balamban, situated approximately 50 kilometers east of Cebu City via the Transcentral Highway. Kaikai is their only child, and his innocent and spontaneous act of selling water has touched the hearts of many on the internet. His endearing gesture has reminded people of the joy and simplicity found in the actions of young children and how they can bring a smile to anyone’s face.
