Liza went on to take the opportunity to honor those who came at the intimate ceremony at that time and to also honor all the people who have given their trust in her to fulfill this dream of a better local film industry by “collaborating with countries like France who willingly shared their resources and best practices to help us reach our goals”.

She also expressed her gratitude to Her Excellency, French Ambassador Michele Boccoz, for hosting the intimate ceremony at that time.

According to her, the award holds a special place in her heart as it acknowledges not just her work but “the power of cinema to bring countries together towards a shared vision of an empowered film industry”.
