Vickie Rushton: “The first time we saw you”
VICKIE RUSHTON AND JASON ABALOS – The celebrity couple recently announced that they’re expecting their first child.
It was last May 8, 2023 when Jason shared a sweet message for Vickie as she celebrated her 31st birthday. At that time, the actor posted a photo where his wife can be seen holding her tummy.
On Tuesday, Vickie posted a video as she announced that she’s pregnant with her first child. She also said that their baby is their “answered prayer”, as seen in the thumbnail of the said video.
In her social media post, Vickie shared a clip of an ultrasound and captioned her post “The first time we saw you” along with a Bible verse that says:
“For this child we have prayed and the Lord has granted the desires of our hearts.” (1 Samuel 1:27)

Her husband then shared her post on his Instagram Stories.
Fellow celebrities congratulated the couple in the comments section of Vickie’s post – including Jessy Mendiola, MJ Lastimosa, Samantha Bernardo, and Loisa Andalio, among others.
Prior to the pregnancy announcement, the former beauty queen shared how she celebrated her special day and also expressed her gratitude to those who sent their birthday greetings to her.
She shared a series of photos on her social media account where she can be seen having a birthday celebration with her loved ones at home.
“Most of all, thank you, Lord, for answering my prayers. You’ve blessed me more than I deserve,” she said in the caption of her social media post. “Thank you for thirtyone-derful years!”
Vickie and Jason tied the knot in Tagaytay last September 2022.
