Gardo Versoza: “Actually, bago ako inatake, excited pa akong pumunta ng set.”
GARDO VERSOZA – Even though he’s set to undergo a second angioplasty procedure, the actor shared that he’s excited to go back to work.
It was last April 25, 2023 when he posted a video on Instagram where he can be seen dancing near his gym equipment. At that time, he said that his gym equipment is on sale so he can raise funds for a second angioplasty procedure.
The seasoned actor is one of the stars in the upcoming show “Jack & Jill sa Diamond Hills”.
Gardo said at a media conference for “Jack & Jill sa Diamond Hills” that he’s looking forward to returning to his career in acting. According to him, he’s excited to go to the set before suffering from a heart attack.
The actor also shared that he’s excited to work because he’s surrounded by a good company. He added that the scenes are fun to execute, which makes him happy even if he goes home.
“Actually, bago ako inatake, excited pa akong pumunta ng set. Kahit maaga ‘yung [call time] ko, hindi tense sa set. Nakaka-excite kasi masaya ‘yung company, masaya ‘yung pagkaka-execute ng mga eksena, and masaya ka rin umuuwi,” Gardo said. “Noong time na ‘yun, excited talaga akong mag-work. Kaso sa hindi inaasahang pagkakataon, ayun.”

Gardo admitted that he is unsure of the cause of his heart problem as he’s not the type of person who gets mad and he doesn’t get annoyed easily. However, he said that there are a lot of unpleasant and unexpected events that could happen.
While he has yet to disclose when his second angioplasty procedure would take place, the actor assured that he’s in a better condition than before.
It was last March 30, 2023 when Gardo’s wife Ivy Vicencio confirmed in an interview with ABS-CBN News that the actor had a heart attack and he underwent an angioplasty procedure.
