Ysabel Ortega on Senator Lito Lapid: “Grateful ako kasi now we’re OK”

YSABEL ORTEGA – The Kapuso actress recently spoke about her relationship with her father, Senator Lito Lapid.

The “Voltes V: Legacy” star appeared on Friday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” wherein she opened up about her relationship with the senator.

She shared that she was very close with her father growing up, adding that she always talked about it and also grateful for it. However, she shared that she and her father go through a rough patch.

The actress told the King of Talk that there are always misunderstandings and it always happens to families, but she’s grateful because she and her father are now okay as they get to talk to each other and see each other from time to time.

She also shared that her father has been providing support for her studies and he wasn’t lacking in that aspect.

Ysabel also said people are often surprised to learn that she is the daughter of the former action star. During the “Fast Talk” portion of the show, the actress was asked what she inherited from her father and she laughingly responded “Paninipa”.

In the same interview, the actress also opened up about her relationship with her stepfather.

Kasi I know it’s not easy to treat someone else’s daughter as your own,” the Kapuso actress told the King of Talk. “I’m just very grateful kasi I found a father in Daddy Greg (Pimentel).
