REQUIREMENTS FOR PAG-IBIG CASH LOAN – Here are the documents required for application for Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL) offer.

If you are a Pag-IBIG Fund member, the government agency is one of the entities that you may turn to in times of need for money. It has the Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL) offer that was crafted to help address the short-term needs of Pag-IBIG members.

The requirements for Pag-IBIG Cash Loan application depends if the applicant is employed, self-employed, or an OFW. Meanwhile, you can refer to the lists below to check the documents that will be required of you for application.

If you are employed, prepare the following documents for application:

  • duly-accomplished and signed Multi-Purpose Loan Application Form
  • one (1) photocopy of valid ID acceptable to the Fund
  • proof of income:
    • “The “Certificate of Net Pay” portion at the back of the application form must be accomplished by the employer or submit photocopy of one (1) month latest payslip duly authenticated by the company’s authorized signatory”

The following are the documents needed if the member-borrower is a self-employed individual:

  • duly-accomplished and signed Multi-Purpose Loan Application Form
  • one (1) photocopy of valid ID acceptable to the Fund
  • proof of income (any of the following):
    • original copy of Bank Statements or passbook for the last 12 months
    • original copy of Notarized Affidavit of Income
    • photocopy of Income Tax Return (ITR), Audited Financial Statements, and Official Receipt of tax payment from bank supported with DTI Registrant and Mayor’s Permit/Business Permit
    • original copy of Certificate of Engagement issued by the owner of business
    • original copy of Commission Vouchers reflecting the issuer’s name and contact details
    • Certified True Copy of Transport Franchise issued by appropriate government agency (original)

Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) members of Pag-IBIG Fund may also apply for the loan offer and the following are the requirements for Pag-IBIG Cash Loan application if the applicant is an OFW:

  • duly-accomplished and signed Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan Application Form
  • one (1) photocopy of valid ID acceptable to the Fund
  • proof of income (any of the following in original copy):
    • Employment Contract
      • photocopy of Employment Contract between employee and employer or original copy of POEA Standard Contract
    • Income Tax Return (ITR) with Host Country or Government
    • Certificate of Employment and Compensation (CEC)
