Liza Soberano: “It really pushed me to come out of my shell”
LIZA SOBERANO – The actress recently spoke about being part of the Hollywood movie “Lisa Frankenstein”.
“Lisa Frankenstein” is a movie that puts a fresh spin on the 1821 novel “Frankenstein”. It features Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse in the lead.
Liza Soberano, who is an artist under James Reid’s talent management company Careless Music, described being part of the Hollywood movie as “the best experience of my life.”
According to a report on Inquirer Entertainment, the actress said that the film really pushed her to come out of her shell.
The actress shared that she was shy going into it and she was also intimidated because it was a “new environment” for her and she was surrounded by Americans, adding that the culture there was “so much different”.
She also shared that she realized she only had to communicate better with them and to also find confidence in herself and her capabilities. According to her, her co-actors empowered her and also gave her the confidence that she’s actually good.

Aside from this, the actress got to collaborate with several South Korean celebrities for digital content and even had the opportunity to meet her favorite girl group BLACKPINK.
The actress recalled the experience during an interview with Inquirer Entertainment, saying that she met BLACKPINK and she noticed that they’re “always alert”, “very calculated”, and well taken care of.
“I met a lot of them, so it’s really hard to choose. I met Blackpink and, obviously, they’re my favorite girl group ever,” she said. “They’re just so professional, on a different level because they had to train for so many years. They’re so used to living a fast-paced life that everything is kind of automatic to them.”
