LANI MISALUCHA – The Asia’s Nightingale recounted the effects of hearing loss on her singing career.

The singer appeared on Monday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” wherein she shared the aftermath of her suffering from bacterial meningitis. She also recounted the effects of hearing loss on her singing career.

To recall, it was in 2020 when the singer revealed hearing loss in one ear as a result of bacterial meningitis.

In an interview, she shared that she and her husband Noli Misalucha were already experiencing some of the side effects of the disease — including hearing loss and blurry vision — when they were admitted to the hospital.

The singer also recalled how she and her husband got themselves treated with medications in order to kill the bacteria within their body. She shared that going through medications while suffering from the damages of bacterial meningitis was among of the biggest health scares of her life.

Lani also recalled an instance where she sang during the Christmas special of “The Clash” in 2020. According to the singer, she didn’t know that she was out of tune during that time.

Lani even said that there were moments when she questioned God about the challenges she had to face. She then told the King of Talk that she couldn’t say she’s feeling better as of the interview, but she has “gotten used to the situation”.
