Enrique Gil on Liza Soberano: “I am going to support no matter what. I love her to death”
ENRIQUE GIL – The Kapamilya actor recently spoke about his relationship with his girlfriend Liza Soberano.
The actor is set to return to acting after 3 years of being inactive in the showbiz industry as he signed a two-year exclusive contract with ABS-CBN.
Enrique said in his speech at the contract signing ceremony last April 25, 2023 that ABS-CBN has always been his home and he’s glad to be back home. He also thanked the network for giving him the opportunities.
In a report on ABS-CBN News’s TV Patrol, he said that their relationship is still going strong even if they are busy with their respective careers in the industry. He also said that both of them are already “used” with the breakup rumors hounding their 7-year relationship.
“She’s just really busy with her stuff there,” he said, referring to Liza’s fledgling Hollywood career under her new management. “I am going to be visiting her maybe when my schedule clears up. I think she’s coming back here.”
According to Enrique, he’s fully supportive of Liza’s career move “no matter what” because he loves her “to death”.

The actor also admitted that it’s hard to be in a long-distance relationship. He shared that he and Liza don’t talk like they used to because of different time zones, but they still keep in touch with each other.
In the same interview, Enrique said that he’s going to be focusing on his showbiz career as a solo artist for now.
“It is about me coming back to doing my own path as a solo artist,” he said. “What we’re going for is a multi-level genre, so pwedeng may pagka-romance, action, and a lot of comedy in it as well.”
According to a report on Inquirer, the Kapamilya actor will reportedly star in an upcoming movie and series with ABS-CBN.
