Steps on How To Apply for SSS Salary Loan Offer
Step 1 – Qualifications. Like in other loan offers, there are qualifications or eligibility requirements set by the lender under the loan offer. For the SSS Salary Loan offer, to be eligible to apply for it, the borrower-applicant must:
- have an updated SSS account with at least 36 monthly contributions posted
- not be a recipient of a final benefit from SSS
- be 65 years old or below at the time of the loan maturity
Step 2 – Documentary Requirements. The documents that you need to submit will depend if you will be the one who will process your loan application or someone will do it for you. You can refer below:

- duly-accomplished Member Loan Application Form
- SSS digitized ID or E-6 with any two (2) valid IDs (one of which with a recent photo)
- Baptismal Certificate
- School ID
- Senior Citizens Card
- Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID
- Seaman’s Book
- Credit Card
- GSIS Card
- Company ID
- Voter’s Identification card/affidavit/Certificate of Registration
- Postal ID
- Health or Medical Card
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) Card
- LTO Driver’s License
- Overseas Worker Welfare Administration card
- ATM card with cardholder’s name or with certification from bank
- Marriage Contract
- NBI Clearance
- Police Clearance
- Transcript of Records
- Certificate from:
- Office of Muslim Affairs
- Life Insurance Policy
- Office of Southern/Northern Cultural Communities
- Birth/Baptismal certificate of child/ren
- Certificate of Licensure/Qualification Documents/Seafarer’s ID and Record Book from Maritime Industry
- Certificate of Naturalization from the Bureau of Immigration
- Seafarer’s Registration Certificate issued by POEA
- Bank Account Passbook
- Pag-IBIG Member’s Data Form
- For applications filed by an authoritized representative:
- duly-accomplished Member Loan Application Form
- SSS-issued Authorized Company Representative (ACR) card
- Letter of Authority (LOA) from employer
- two (2) valid IDs both with signature and at least one with photo
- Member-borrower’s SS card or Application for SS card (SS Form E-6) acknowledgment stub and two (2) valid IDs
- For applications filed by the employer or company representative:
- duly-accomplished Member Loan Application Form
- Letter of Authority (LOA) from employer
- Member-borrower’s SS card or Application for SS card (SS Form E-6) acknowledgment stub and two (2) valid IDs
- two (2) valid IDs both with signature and at least one with photo
Step 3 – Submit your documents. Go to a branch of SSS and submit your documents. The loan processing may take a few working days and the social insurance institution will inform you about the result of your loan application.
