Timely story of Xian Gaza about a pastor
XIAN GAZA – The social media personality went to social networking site, Facebook wherein shared a timely story about a pastor.
A pastor is a religious leader who serves as a spiritual guide, teacher, and counselor to a congregation or community of believers. Pastors are typically ordained clergy members who have received formal religious training and are responsible for leading worship services, preaching sermons, performing sacraments, providing pastoral care, and organizing community outreach and service programs.
The role of a pastor varies depending on the particular denomination and tradition, but their primary focus is to help people grow in their faith and live according to religious principles.
Earlier, a controversial pastor was heavily criticized after a female member exposed him for demanding a “Ford Raptor” as gift on his birthday. A certain Zamora Cha couldn’t help but speak out against the pastor for financially exploiting the members of their church.
Amid the issue, Xian Gaza took to social media wherein he shared a timely story about a pastor. According to him, there was a pastor in the city of Malabon who had a hard time supporting his church because he did not collect donations.
Gaza said most of his ministry members were young people who don’t have a job. He used his salary as an editor for a big publishing company to sustain the weekly expenses of the church. One day, at the height of the pandemic in 2020, he decided to open a small coffee stall in front of the church, selling coffee for 29 and 39 pesos per cup – affordable prices.
Xian said that after three years, he now has 900 branches all over the Philippines. He earns 1-2 million pesos net profit every day. The pastor is now building a large church worth 50 million pesos, and he financially helps thousands of his members. Xian Gaza stressed the number one rule in his church is that donations are not allowed.
In the later part of his post, Xian said that the reason why he’s telling the story of the said pastor is that he wanted everyone to know that all pastors are greedy and make the church their source of income.
