FPJ’S BATANG QUIAPO – A particular scene in the series has become the talk of the town after a vigilant netizen discovered a continuity error in it.
A certain Phao Pineda took to Facebook to bring to light the scene where John Estrada was searching for someone inside the hall. As she closely examined the scene, she noticed that one of the cast members, wearing a blue shirt, was leisurely playing billiards in the background.
The plot thickened as Gary was exiting the billiard hall, and the same cast member was spotted hurriedly running away from him. In a subsequent scene, the same cast member, in the same blue shirt, was shown to be drinking with others.
This discrepancy did not go unnoticed by the eagle-eyed viewer, who shared it online and sparked a viral discussion among the series’s fans.
“Why naman ganun Batang Quiapo? Wow magic eh. How much kaya talent fee ni Kuya,” she noted as the caption of her post.
After a sharp-eyed netizen discovered a continuity error in the Filipino film “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” some other netizens came forward with their own theories to explain the discrepancy. One such theory is that the show’s budget may have been limited, leading the production team to utilize their actors in multiple roles simultaneously.
The viral Facebook post that highlighted the continuity error has been making the rounds online and has garnered an impressive 2.6 million views as of the time of writing.
Meanwhile, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo is an action drama television series based on the 1986 action-comedy film of the same title starring Fernando Poe Jr. and Maricel Soriano. The series is focused on the life of a young man named Tanggol, who struggles to survive in Quiapo and eventually becomes one of the most infamous outlaws in the area. His achievement brings him closer to the truth about his identity as he attempts to win his parents’ affection.
